1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to n8n University ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our online learning platform, courses, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" means the n8n University platform, website, courses, and all related services
  • "Content" means all courses, lessons, videos, exercises, materials, and documentation provided through the Service
  • "You" or "User" means any person who accesses or uses the Service
  • "We", "Us", or "Our" means n8n University and its operators
  • "Account" means your registered user account on our platform

3. Account Terms

3.1 Account Creation

To access our courses, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each account is for individual use only. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access courses through your account. Each person must have their own account and purchase.

3.4 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive behavior.

4. Course Access and License

4.1 Lifetime Access

When you purchase a course, you receive lifetime access to that course content, subject to these Terms and our continued operation of the Service. "Lifetime" means as long as we continue to offer the Service.

4.2 Personal Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the courses you have purchased for your personal, non-commercial use only.

4.3 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

  • Share, redistribute, or resell course content
  • Download course content for offline distribution
  • Create derivative works from our content
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use content for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Share your account credentials with others

4.4 Intellectual Property Rights

All course content, including text, videos, exercises, code examples, and materials, are owned by n8n University or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

Course prices are displayed in USD. Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect purchases already made.

5.2 One-Time Payment

All courses are sold as one-time purchases with lifetime access. There are no recurring subscription fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors (Stripe and Green Invoice). By making a purchase, you agree to their respective terms of service.

5.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or government charges associated with your purchase.

6. NO REFUND POLICY FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

6.1 Why No Refunds

Due to the nature of digital educational content, once you purchase a course, you immediately receive access to all course materials. Because digital content can be accessed, viewed, and potentially copied instantly, we cannot verify that content has not been consumed.

6.2 No Refunds Include

NO REFUNDS will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Failure to use the course or complete lessons
  • Dissatisfaction with course content or teaching style
  • Technical difficulties on your end (internet, device, browser)
  • Duplicate purchases or accidental purchases
  • Not achieving expected results or outcomes
  • Finding alternative resources or courses

6.3 Before You Purchase

To help you make an informed decision, we strongly encourage you to:

  • Carefully review course descriptions and curriculum
  • Check the topics covered and learning objectives
  • Verify technical requirements for accessing courses
  • Read this no-refund policy in full
  • Contact us with any questions before purchasing

6.4 EU Customers and Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer protection laws (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does NOT apply to digital content when:

  • The consumer has expressly consented to immediate access to the digital content
  • The consumer has acknowledged losing their right of withdrawal

By purchasing and accessing course content, you explicitly agree to immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you thereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection laws.

6.5 Limited Exceptions

We may consider refund requests ONLY in the following exceptional circumstances, at our sole discretion:

  • Technical Failure: Persistent technical issues preventing course access that we cannot resolve within 14 days
  • Duplicate Billing: You were charged multiple times for the same course due to a payment processing error
  • Unauthorized Charges: Fraudulent or unauthorized use of your payment method (requires proof)

To request an exception review, contact us at support@n8nuniversity.com within 7 days of purchase with detailed explanation and supporting evidence. Approval is not guaranteed and remains at our sole discretion.

6.6 Alternative Solutions

If you encounter technical issues or have questions about course content, please contact our support team. We are committed to helping you succeed and will work with you to resolve any legitimate issues.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
  • Spam, abuse, or misuse the AI tutor functionality
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access content without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our staff
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Content

All course content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, code examples, exercises, and software, is the property of n8n University or our licensors and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 n8n Trademark

"n8n" is a trademark of n8n.io. n8n University is an independent educational platform providing courses about n8n automation. We are not officially affiliated with or endorsed by n8n.io, though we teach their platform.

8.3 DMCA Policy

If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@n8nuniversity.com with detailed information about the alleged infringement.

9. DISCLAIMERS

9.1 Educational Content Only

Our courses provide educational information about n8n automation and workflow development. This is NOT professional consulting, business advice, or technical support. You are solely responsible for how you implement automation in your business or projects.

9.2 No Guarantees of Results

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE OR WARRANT:

  • Specific results, outcomes, or achievements from taking our courses
  • Income, revenue, or business success from applying course materials
  • Job placement, career advancement, or employment opportunities
  • Compatibility with all versions or configurations of n8n
  • That course content will meet your specific needs or expectations
  • Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service

Your results depend on many factors including your effort, prior knowledge, business context, and implementation choices.

9.3 AI Tutor Disclaimer

Our AI assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI model. While designed to be helpful, the AI tutor:

  • May provide inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information
  • May generate incorrect or non-functional code examples
  • May misunderstand your questions or provide irrelevant answers
  • Should NOT be relied upon as the sole source of information
  • Is provided as a supplementary learning aid only

ALWAYS verify AI-generated code, advice, and information before implementing it in production systems. We are not responsible for any issues arising from following AI-generated suggestions.

9.4 Third-Party Dependencies

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Changes to the n8n platform that affect course accuracy
  • Service interruptions or outages of Supabase, our hosting provider
  • Payment processor issues (Stripe, Green Invoice)
  • Third-party service outages or API changes
  • Changes to external services demonstrated in courses

9.5 "AS-IS" Service

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Course of performance or usage of trade

9.6 Platform Updates

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Service, including course content, features, or availability, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

10.1 Exclusion of Damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL N8N UNIVERSITY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Cost of procurement of substitute goods or services
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any damages arising from errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in content
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
  • Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service

10.2 Maximum Liability Cap

Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the LESSER of:

  • The total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, OR
  • $100 USD (One Hundred US Dollars)

10.3 Basis of the Bargain

The limitations of liability set forth above are fundamental elements of the basis of the bargain between you and n8n University. The Service would not be provided without such limitations.

10.4 Jurisdictional Variations

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. You may have additional rights that vary by jurisdiction.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless n8n University, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
  • Any content you submit or transmit through the Service
  • Your implementation of automation or workflows based on course content

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Abuse of the Service or other users
  • Non-payment or payment disputes
  • At our sole discretion for any other reason

12.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease. You will lose access to all course content and materials. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

12.3 Survival

The following sections shall survive termination: Payment Terms, No Refund Policy, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and General Provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

13.1 Governing Law

13.2 Dispute Resolution Process

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice.

14.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or internet/telecommunications failures.

14.6 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our platform. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
